Cleaning Phaser 750 Printers
Note
When using isopropyl alcohol for cleaning, make sure that the alcohol is at least
90 percent pure. (Never use rubbing alcohol or alcohol with additives; it can
damage the printer.) You can also use pre-soaked alcohol wipes (order number
006-7824-01).
Regularly scheduled cleaning is not necessary for this printer. However, if your printer
experiences frequent media jams, clean these printer parts:
Paper-pick rollers (a)
■ Use a lint-free cloth with 90 percent pure isopropyl alcohol.
Paper-feed rollers (b) on the Lower Tray Assembly
■ Use a lint-free cloth with 90 percent pure isopropyl alcohol.
Duplex Unit
■ Use a lint-free cloth with 90 percent pure isopropyl alcohol.
Sensor
■ Use a dry lint-free cloth.
■ Refer to the instructions on page 89.
