INSTALLING THE UTILITY FILES

Downloading ﬁles from the Tektronix ftp server

The utility ﬁles included on the printer’s CD-ROM let you set up the printer from UNIX

and VMS workstations to select between print quality modes, color correction

modes and other features. If you don’t have the means to transfer these ﬁles from

the CD-ROM, you can request ﬁles from the Tektronix anonymous ftp server.

If you can exchange electronic mail with other Internet sites, you can access the

Tektronix ftp server. From this server you can retrieve driver and utility ﬁles and

color printer information.

To log onto the Tektronix ftp server and download utility ﬁles, follow these

instructions:

1 Type the following at the system prompt, and press the Return key:

ftp ftp.tek.com

The system responds:
